Redefining Worship, Unlocking Heaven's Realms

Teleos Worship, the worship ministry of The Finishing Church, embodies the essence of its name, drawn from the Greek word Teleos, meaning “perfect,” “complete,” “lacking nothing,” or “finished.” This ministry is at the forefront of a divine redefinition of worship, serving as a powerful channel of ascension for the saints and a tool of divine transaction with the Upper Realm.

Through worship, Teleos creates a sacred atmosphere where heaven touches earth, releasing the power of God to heal, deliver, and set free. It is a portal of transformation, enabling worshipers to align with God’s purpose and experience His presence in profound and life-changing ways. Worship is no longer a routine but an intentional encounter with the fullness of God, where the finished work of Christ is celebrated, and His kingdom is manifested among His people.

Teleos Worship is a rapidly growing ministry that has begun releasing anointed sounds, destined to bless not just The Finishing Church community but the entire body of Christ. These Spirit-breathed melodies are tools of revival, carrying the fragrance of heaven and the weight of God’s glory. Each sound is an invitation to encounter, a call to rise higher, and a declaration of God’s sovereign power.

The ministry is led by one of the Directors of The Finishing Church Community, operating under the spiritual oversight and mentorship of Kemi Fred-Adetiba, the co-lead steward of the church. Together, they steward a vision to create a worship movement that reflects God’s perfection and draws His people into deeper intimacy with Him.

Through Teleos Worship, God is birthing a sound for the new era—a sound that will stir hearts, lift burdens, and usher the saints into a dimension of completeness in Christ.

First, we must understand church is not a building, a Sunday school class, or a service time. According to scripture, a church gathering is a group of people coming together in Christ and the people are the church. Jesus shows us in Matthew 18 that a gathering can be as little as two people together.

The service usually involves the singing of hymns, reading of scripture verses and possibly a psalm. If the church follows a lectionary, the sermon will often be about the scripture lections assigned to that day. Eucharistic churches have usually Holy Communion either every Sunday or several Sundays a month.

There are no rules as to what to bring to church, other than your self, an open heart and mind. Some bring a bible, if you’re going to engage in bible study.

If you want to know how to dress for church, something modest and comfortable should be fine. Generally, graphic tees that show off sports team logos or bands should never be worn to church. Solid-colored tops are fine, and even something with a pattern should be OK to wear.

Ask your friends if they have a place to worship the Savior and invite them to come worship with you, especially at times like Christmas and Easter. If they aren’t Christians, ask them if they’d like to learn more about Jesus Christ and invite them to experience a Christian worship service with you. Remember to show the same respect for their beliefs that you hope they will give yours.

There are many questions Christians are asked that the individual Christian is unable to answer. It happens all the time.
