As I reflected, I asked the Holy Spirit, “How did I develop that level of discipline back then, especially considering how unstable my life was at the time?”
Oh my goodness, Pastor!
To be honest, this is not the first, second, third, or even fourth time you’ve taught on something the Holy Spirit had already been highlighting to me or something He had already been leading me to meditate on.
Just this past Thursday, before I travelled to Lagos, in the early hours of the morning, the Holy Spirit began speaking to me about discipline. He showed me how important discipline is for where He is taking me and reminded me of how much discipline has already helped me accomplish in life.
As I reflected, I asked the Holy Spirit, “How did I develop that level of discipline back then, especially considering how unstable my life was at the time?”
He reminded me that I had already built that discipline from other areas long before then, during my active football playing days, and while I was consistently learning to play the drums and serving in the Redeemed Church. This was in 2011/2012. That’s when everything clicked for me.
The experience was so profound that, before leaving for Lagos, I recorded a video about it because I wanted to share it with my audience.
Then I came to church today, and boom, you were teaching on discipline! Not only that, you even used the same example of athletes. Ah! Indeed, the Spirit of God is one.
Thank you once again, Pastor, for faithfully bringing God’s heart to us. Personally, I believe that if God keeps emphasising this message to me, it means He’s calling me to a new level of discipline because He is preparing me for a new phase of my life.
God bless you richly, sir.
I’m sorry, Pastor, I just couldn’t keep this to myself.
