Raising Kingdom Professionals for the Marketplace

The Finishing Church’s Communities of Practice (CoPs) are dynamic groups designed to nurture and empower individuals in their respective spheres of influence. These CoPs provide platforms for members to connect, grow, and align their professional, creative, and leadership pursuits with kingdom principles, enabling them to achieve excellence and make transformative impacts.

Objectives of Communities of Practice (CoPs)

  • Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences.
  • Learning: Enhance individual and collective knowledge.
  • Innovation: Foster creativity by bringing together diverse perspectives.
  • Collaboration: Build a network of practitioners to address common challenges.
  • Professional Development: Help members grow their skills and improve their practices.

The Three Communities

The Joseph Company is a community designed to equip entrepreneurs, business owners, and career professionals to thrive in the marketplace while upholding kingdom principles. Drawing inspiration from Joseph’s life as a steward and administrator in Egypt, this community emphasizes integrity, innovation, and influence. Through mentorship, skill-building workshops, and networking opportunities, members are empowered to create businesses and careers that reflect Christ’s excellence. The Joseph Company fosters an environment of accountability, prayer, and collaboration, enabling members to overcome challenges and contribute meaningfully to economic and societal transformation.

The Daniel Company focuses on empowering public office holders, politicians, civil servants, and public servants to lead with integrity and a commitment to justice. Inspired by the biblical example of Daniel, who excelled in governance while remaining faithful to God, this community supports members in navigating the complexities of public service. Through ethical leadership training, policy roundtables, and advocacy initiatives, the Daniel Company seeks to raise transformative leaders who champion transparency and implement policies that benefit society. This community serves as a platform for mutual encouragement, shared wisdom, and spiritual fortification for those in governance.

The Bezalel Company is a hub for creatives and tech professionals who are passionate about using their gifts to glorify God and influence culture positively. Named after Bezalel, the Spirit-filled artisan in Exodus, this community nurtures creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship. Members engage in creative labs, skill-building workshops, and faith-based dialogues, exploring how to integrate their talents with kingdom values. Whether in art, media, design, or technology, the Bezalel Company inspires members to produce works that inspire and transform, fostering a community where faith and creativity intersect for cultural and spiritual impact.

pray, grow and share with us

First, we must understand church is not a building, a Sunday school class, or a service time. According to scripture, a church gathering is a group of people coming together in Christ and the people are the church. Jesus shows us in Matthew 18 that a gathering can be as little as two people together.

The service usually involves the singing of hymns, reading of scripture verses and possibly a psalm. If the church follows a lectionary, the sermon will often be about the scripture lections assigned to that day. Eucharistic churches have usually Holy Communion either every Sunday or several Sundays a month.

There are no rules as to what to bring to church, other than your self, an open heart and mind. Some bring a bible, if you’re going to engage in bible study.

If you want to know how to dress for church, something modest and comfortable should be fine. Generally, graphic tees that show off sports team logos or bands should never be worn to church. Solid-colored tops are fine, and even something with a pattern should be OK to wear.

Ask your friends if they have a place to worship the Savior and invite them to come worship with you, especially at times like Christmas and Easter. If they aren’t Christians, ask them if they’d like to learn more about Jesus Christ and invite them to experience a Christian worship service with you. Remember to show the same respect for their beliefs that you hope they will give yours.

There are many questions Christians are asked that the individual Christian is unable to answer. It happens all the time.
