Empowering Women in Purpose and Divine Identity

X-Elle, the Women’s Ministry of The Finishing Church, stands as a vibrant community where women are nurtured to know and love God while walking boldly in their divine identity and functionality on earth. The name X-Elle reflects its mission, standing for “An Excellent Woman” — one who embodies God’s nature and fulfills His purposes with grace and strength. As a key pillar of The Finishing Church’s mission to raise a new breed of believers in these last days, X-Elle is designed to cultivate the unique and vital dimension of God’s nature that women embody, equipping them to fulfill His purposes on earth.

Under the leadership of one of the church’s Pastors, with oversight from Kemi Fred-Adetiba (Lady Kemz), co-lead steward of The Finishing Church, X-Elle is a thriving ministry rooted in spiritual growth, fellowship, and purpose. Recognizing the diverse needs of its members, X-Elle is divided into three Growth Groups: Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby. Each group provides a close-knit community where women can form deep, supportive relationships with their sisters, sharing life’s journeys and strengthening one another through prayer, encouragement, and shared wisdom.

Beyond their Growth Group meetings, X-Elle members gather for larger events, including annual general conferences that serve as powerful moments of spiritual rejuvenation and collective vision casting. These gatherings are filled with teachings, worship, and opportunities for every woman to rediscover her God-given potential and align her life with divine purpose.

In every dimension, X-Elle reflects the heartbeat of The Finishing Church: raising believers who are equipped to thrive in their spiritual walk and make lasting impact in their spheres of influence. Through this ministry, women are inspired and empowered to embrace their unique calling, standing as beacons of God’s love and power in their families, communities, and the world at large. X-Elle is more than a ministry—it’s a movement of excellent women rising to fulfill destiny.

Find out what to expect

First, we must understand church is not a building, a Sunday school class, or a service time. According to scripture, a church gathering is a group of people coming together in Christ and the people are the church. Jesus shows us in Matthew 18 that a gathering can be as little as two people together.

The service usually involves the singing of hymns, reading of scripture verses and possibly a psalm. If the church follows a lectionary, the sermon will often be about the scripture lections assigned to that day. Eucharistic churches have usually Holy Communion either every Sunday or several Sundays a month.

There are no rules as to what to bring to church, other than your self, an open heart and mind. Some bring a bible, if you’re going to engage in bible study.

If you want to know how to dress for church, something modest and comfortable should be fine. Generally, graphic tees that show off sports team logos or bands should never be worn to church. Solid-colored tops are fine, and even something with a pattern should be OK to wear.

Ask your friends if they have a place to worship the Savior and invite them to come worship with you, especially at times like Christmas and Easter. If they aren’t Christians, ask them if they’d like to learn more about Jesus Christ and invite them to experience a Christian worship service with you. Remember to show the same respect for their beliefs that you hope they will give yours.
